Malaysia Day Prayer Celebration

The Flag Parade and the National Anthem.

On 16 September 2014,  close to 4,500 Christians from various denominations and churches all across the Klang Valley and as far as Port Dickson came together for the the Malaysia Day Prayer Celebration that was held in Bukit Jalil.  It was there that Prayer United – a network of umbrella organisations, denominations and prayer networks – launched the call to nationwide 24-7 prayer for Malaysia at the Malaysia Day Prayer Celebration.

In that 3-hour prayer gathering, people from all walks of life, together with politicians and church leaders, came to worship together, and to pray for the nation.  Prayers were offered for the government, the judiciary, the church, the peoples of the land, families, and migrants and refugees.
